KRISTA BRENING​

I am fascinated by nature and attempt to capture it's beauty with different mediums which seem to appeal to me at the moment. Art is a way for me to 'tune out' the world and 'tune in' to myself. I often will experiment with different medias and love to learn new forms of expression. My art often depicts female artists who I am inspired by. Frida Kahlo was raw in her depiction of self which I am envious of. Like many other New Mexico residents, I am enamored by Georgia O'Keefe so you may see some of her style reflected in my pieces.
