demonstration of the Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) model in Santa Fe County.

2006: State of New Mexico/Department of Health/Behavioral Health Services Division at The Southwest Behavioral Health
Conference: first ever award “Recognition for Outstanding Accomplishments and Contributions to the Field of Behavioral Health and Dedication to Helping Improve the Quality of Life in New Mexico”.

2006: Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF): Maximum 3-Year Certificate of Accreditation with special commendation for its use of evidence-based treatment practices and the quality of leadership. The Life Link adheres to CARF’s high standards for governance, business operations, quality assurance and client-centered services.

2006: Letter notifying The Life Link of its continuation as a clinical site for the Co-Occurring State Incentive Grant stated, “The Life Link has a well-deserved reputation as one of New Mexico’s outstanding providers of mental health and substance abuse services.

2005: Housing and Urban Development: Best Practices Award for a Community Housing Project.

2003:National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Certificate of Appreciation for Clinical Trails Network.

2002: Governor’s Mental Health Planning Council of New Mexico: Certificate of Appreciation for Dedication and Service.

1999: Fannie Mae Foundation: Grant to organizations that help increase the supply of affordable homes, increase sustainable homeownership and build individual and community wealth.

1998: Mortgage Finance Authority of New Mexico: Outstanding Achievement Certificate toward ending homelessness in New Mexico.

1989: The Santa Fe Foundation, Margaret W. Driscoll Award for Outstanding Community Service in Human Services.

2008: National Council for Community Behavioral Health: Carol Luna Anderson named "Behavioral Health Champion". In recognition for the "difficult and challenging work managers in the behavioral health field do."

2008: New Mexico Behavioral Health Collaborative Systems of Care Award for Excellence individuals, organizations and programs that foster a positive impact on New Mexico’s mental health and/or substance abuse systems of care. Pioneer, Carol Luna-Anderson. Ms. Luna-Anderson has served hundreds of consumers for over 20 years; offering hope, kindness and work to those who might otherwise not find it. Through The Life Link in Santa Fe she has designed and implemented programs that have gained national recognition.

2007: Governor’s Award for Outstanding New Mexico Women.

2006: National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Certificate of Recognition for “many years and contributions to the behavioral health community”.

2006: Citation from Governor Bill Richardson: “Outstanding Community Service and Exceptional Dedication for your devoted work on behalf of homeless New Mexicans“.
