Substance Abuse Support
The Life Link offers an array of outpatient treatment services for alcohol and drug abuse and dependence. Our approach is one that considers the client where she/he is at in the recovery process whether that is just starting to consider the need for change, committed and working toward healthy change, or working to sustain changes that have already been made. Within an educational, supportive, and positive treatment environment, clients are given the opportunity to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
Treatment programs at The Life Link are available in both English and Spanish, and may be provided in individual, group, or family settings.
By incorporating evidence-based models including Motivational Interviewing and the Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA), The Life Link provides the most effective interventions available. Through our partnerships with the University of New Mexico we ensure that the most cutting-edge, science-based addiction treatment models
are accessible in Santa Fe
The Life Link is also proud to offer the Community Reinforcement Approach and Family Training (CRAFT) Program in Santa Fe. Designed as a non-confrontational, empirically-based intervention, CRAFT works with concerned significant others (spouses, siblings, family, friends) who want to motivate a partner or family member to enter treatment. This program has been shown to not only be effective at engaging treatment-resistant substance abuse in therapy, but also to provide concerned significant others with skills for improved problem solving and self care.
