"CONCEPTUAL PARSING" WITH FAVI

Attendees will participate in a drawing exercise that will offer an opportunity to  collect and parse concepts related to personal goals and the world we all share.

​

The resulting graphical diagrams can be used as art, or simply a map of experiences and plans for a future manifestation. (or discarded, whereupon new ones can be made as needed)

ART SUPPLIES LIST:

​

Participants require a variety of drawing tools like permanent markers, pens – but preferably more than one type size of brush.

 

Two different kinds of blank paper– preferably something thick and something cheaper in bulk.

 

Also bring found objects to stencil from, like big circles or squares, a ruler, and misc elements.

 

ABOUT FAVI:

​

Favi DeMags is a visual artist and recologist from Detroit, Michigan. He has worked closely with professional theatre, trade, concert and  non-profit event production teams since 2003.

–

Along with graphic design and sculpture, he has worked in construction, demolition, facilities maintenance and recycling.

–

Art through this lense provides a means of alchemy and entertainment. He was hired by Meow Wolf and began working with the company full-time in 2019.
