The Life Link is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to work 20 hours per week out of our main office. This position will require working closely with our CFO. Scheduling will be somewhat flexible, but will require work three days per week.
Education/Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age. Five years experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll reports. Experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks required.
Licensure: None Skills: The Bookkeeper will assist in managing the day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skill and accuracy:
Can balance and maintain accurate ledgers.
Monitor office expenses, employee reimbursements and enter cash receipts.
Pay Vendor invoices and code to proper grant expense.
Work closely with CFO.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Able to sit for extended periods, lift up to 20 pounds. OSHA-related: Moderate exposure to VDT. Exposure to bodily fluids and hazardous materials considered minimal. Other Requirements: Must be accessible by phone in case of a client or agency emergency during work hours.
